Sailability

Sailing for people with disability

​

Sailability clubs operate in some 23 countries including across Australia, bringing joy to people with disability through the sport of sailing and other on-water activities. Sailability Mackay is about sharing that joy with the Mackay community.

​

Sailability Mackay is professionally managed and is the youngest Sailability Club operating in Queensland. We are affiliated with Sailability Queensland, our founding sponsor. We are also grateful for the support of our sponsors, marina management, marina business outlets and others in the Mackay community.

When do we sail?

Subject to weather and tides we sail every second Wednesday during school term.

We assemble for sailing at the Pine Islet Lighthouse adjacent to the boat ramp.

Please note that Covid has had a significant impact on our operations. We will be back on the water for you as soon as possible.
